About Us
What is a Division of General Practice?
Divisions are local networks of GPs operating within defined geographical areas across Australia.
The Network strives to improve health outcomes for patients by encouraging general practitioners to work together with other health professionals at a local level. There are 120 Divisions across Australia, 30 of which are located in Victoria. Around 90% of Victorian GPs are members of their local Division.
Bayside General Practice Network
The Network has committed to building stronger relationships with our GPs and their staff to provide programs that remain relevant to local needs. Initiatives include building practice capacity, tailoring services to individual practice needs and assisting practices to overcome workforce issues, leaving GPs free to focus on clinical care.
The Bayside Network has a membership of approximately 200 GPs, representing almost 50 practices.
