Bayside Network has a membership of approximately 200 GPs, representing almost 50 practices. We are an innovative Division emphasizing integration and the promotion, enhancement and improvement of the role of the GP within the wider health sector.
he Bayside GP Network formed a Strategic Alliance with Southcity GP Services and Monash Division of General Practice to establish a primary health care organisation in the Bayside /Southeast area of Melbourne in 2010.
Eligibility
General Practitioners practicing within the Network boundaries are eligible to become Primary Members of Bayside General Practice Network.
Those General Practitioners practicing outside these boundaries can apply for Associate Membership. (Boundaries of the network are allocated by the Department of Health and Aged Care and as of 31 October 2006 are based on the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) Census Collection Districts.
Associate membership is also open to Practice Nurses and others who support the objectives of the company.
