Education & Events
Continuing Professional Development
The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program provides a range of clinical and business related educational sessions for GPs , Practices Nurses and for practice staff .
Events for GPs are usually accredited for CPD Points by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP)and those for nurses are accredited by the Royal College of Nursing Australia [RCNA]. Education events for Practice staff are developed to meet current Accreditation Standards.
Event topics are developed with input from the wider membership (via the annual survey) and from the BGPN Board & GP CPD advisor. This input ensures activities provided are of a high quality and relevant to General Practice.
Information about upcoming activities is placed in the Newsletter , posted on the website under events, and faxed out via our weekly Friday Fax sent out to all GP members.
