What is the Practice Managers Network?
The Network, provides Practice Managers (PMs) with email and/or faxed information that includes alerts, flyers, information relating to Practice Administration, IT/IM, Accreditation, Medicare and legal issues.
What does the Practice Managers Network do?
The PM Network focuses on linking PMs and providing networking opportunities through PM meetings and workshops.
The PM Network is an unfunded program, so the Network is limited in the support that can be offered. Most of this support consists of emailing pertinent information and assisting with PM queries.
How can the Practice Managers Network help you?
PMs can contact the Network who may be able to answer queries, resource information and provide training where a need has been identified.
In addition, by attending the meetings, PMs are able to network and share ideas with others PMs in our region.
What has the Practice Managers Network achieved?
A sense of belonging for our PMs and removal of the isolation that many felt in their roles. A central point of contact and source of information that previously did not exist for PMs.
Some of the topics provided have included performance managing staff, Office 2007 training, Customer Service Updates for reception staff and information sessions on current government initiatives.
